What is wrong with this picture?

To error is human, but dang, when it becomes a personal experience it’s a bummer.  On the bright side there can be redemption in how you recover. KAP Art takes special care in checking “it” twice (and more) before sending projects into production. Unfortunately even the best intentions can fall short.

Of late, we found ourselves having to reprint part of a wedding package due to a misspelled word. August, August, August! How hard can it be to spell a month correct? We have grown up learning about all the months in the calendar year; where they fall in line, what season they represent, and how to spell them. In grade school the current month was always included on the weekly spelling test. By months end everyone could spell the month. August, August, August! How could more than six pair of eyes not catch it?

Fortunately with the above-pictured error we were able to correct it without skipping a beat. Our printer happened to have extra sheets of paper left over from the original job. Halleluiah!!! The re-print was completed in a timely manner, and delivered to our bride before she had to send out her invitations. Whew, disaster diverted.

Errors happen, and will continue to happen regardless of best intentions. They are costly in both time and money. They can make you feel sick, accompanied with loss of sleep, and appetite. Ever been there? On the bright side, clients do appreciate the effort we make to right a wrong. We will go out of our way to correct an error because we really do care.
