KAP Art is a Graphic Design Firm. True statement. But when the economy became unsteady in 2008, we found it necessary to diversify. Hence, we began our exploration into weddings, and have found them to be a natural fit. Weddings have existed for millennia, and will continue on in some form or another for many millennia to come. We feel confident as long as we provide our brides with great service and creative designs Weddings by KAP Art will persevere.
This leads me to one of our newest ventures… Hand Painted Glassware.
We have a client who was looking for some original glassware
for one of their stores. Not wanting cookie cutter designs, they approached us
to create a sampling of possibilities. Long story short, we are now in the
process of painting dozens of original pieces for our client. Red wine glasses,
white wine glasses, pilsners, martini glasses… hand painted with only one
criteria, color. We are fast becoming fine artists. It is fun, creative and
relaxing, a nice divergent from our daily computer generated design. We are not planning to make it a part of
our everyday offerings, but it is nice we are able to accommodate our client.
Having the ability to adapt and be flexible is an advantage to staying
in business. We feel fortunate we are able to accommodate change.
