Focus on the Eugene Mission: Client Appreciation never taken for granted.

Recently, we had the pleasure to work with the Eugene Mission. The Eugene Mission is a homeless shelter located in Eugene, Oregon.  They provide services and programs for men, women, and mothers with children. Their patrons are homeless as a result of job loss, home foreclosure, mental illness, substance abuse, addiction issues, domestic violence, and a variety of other reasons.  The ministry of the Eugene Mission can be summed up in four simple words: Food, Bed, Gospel, Restoration

We collaborated with them to create a newsletter template and a brochure. It was important to design pieces that were informative, and professional looking, that portrayed gentleness and communicated their conviction that all are welcome here. There were many changes, rewrites, and overall edits throughout the process which can sometimes be frustrating. Not this time. The difference was the genuine appreciation the Eugene Mission team relayed to us with every request, and change. The edits were carefully thought through before they requested any action from us. Maybe part of the pleasure came from working with such awe-inspiring people devoted to the welfare of others. You begin to hope a little of the awe rubs off on you.

Among the many benefits from this collaboration was the knowledge gained about the Eugene Mission and all the wonderful programs it is responsible for. Four simple words: Food, Bed, Gospel and Restoration. I would add Devotion, the devotion to administer to the needs of others.

If you don’t know much about the Eugene Mission check out their website. It is easy to navigate through and will provide you with some wonderful knowledge and insight about an often forgotten community among us.

A big thank you to the Eugene Mission for the many kind words of encouragement throughout our joint venture.
